Titanium metal 3D printing technology, as one of the key technologies in the field of additive manufacturing, uses titanium metal powder or wire as raw materials. With the help of a computer-controlled energy source (such as a high-energy laser beam, electron beam, etc.), according to the three-dimensional model data, the materials are stacked and solidified layer by layer to construct titanium metal solid objects with complex shapes.

3.Standard
Titanium and Titanium Alloy Rods for Additive Manufacturing Powder Production(GB/T 38973-2020)
4.Dimensional Tolerances
Diameter tolerance of rods: ±0.1 mm;
Length tolerance of rods: ±5 mm;A small quantity of rods with a length 10-100 mm shorter than the nominal length is allowed, but must not exceed 5% of the total quantity;
Both ends of the rods must be cut flat, with a cutting angle deviation not exceeding 4 mm;
The bending tolerance of the rods must not exceed 0.7 mm/m;
5. Surface Quality
The surface of the rods must be clean, with no oxide scales, cracks, or folds
Local defects on the rod surface must be removed, with the removal depth not exceeding the diameter tolerance;
Minor scratches, indentations, and pitting are allowed if they do not exceed half of the diameter tolerance.
